At our core, we are committed and passionate about creating the best experience for all children and families attending our sessions. But don’t just take our word for it—below is feedback from parents and children who have joined us. Hear the big voices and the little voices. The little voices matter, too.

We started attending Tots and Tunes when my daughter was 4 months old. She is now 9 months, and we’ve been going every week. My daughter absolutely loves it and it’s been incredibly beneficial for her development. She’s now comfortable in crowds, doesn’t mind loud noises, loves being around other children, and enjoys copying what other kids do. Dana is such an amazing host and brings so much joy to all the children. We’ve met new mums and made new friends. Everyone attending is very nice and welcoming, making us feel at home from the start. We always look forward to the sessions.

The morning session on Saturday in the local library in Barking gives me a chance to connect with my kids in a relaxed and playful environment. Dana, who conducts these sessions is very interactive and makes the children at ease. The sessions are both educational and entertaining for the kids, especially during the “rhymes” session. I make it a point to take my children to these Saturday sessions whenever I can.

I have attended Dad’s Rock every Saturday morning for over a year, and it has significantly enriched my two-year-old son’s development. The stimulating and nurturing environment has fostered our bond, especially through the singing sessions, which he absolutely loves. The joy on his face as he recognizes and mimics the songs is priceless. Beyond individual development, Dad’s Rock fosters a supportive community, bringing dads together to share experiences and advice. Dana’s passion for creating an inclusive, engaging space shines through in every session. For any parent looking to bond with their child and be part of a supportive community, Dad’s Rock is invaluable.

Tots N Tunes in Barking library is a welcoming oasis of music and fun for preschoolers and their parents/carers. Dana leads us with a combination of singing, actions and sign language. All the favourites are included like “Old McDonalds and Wheels on the bus…” as well as songs in various languages from the diverse local community. My PMLD student especially loves going underneath the parachute with her mummy!

Tots N Tunes have brought people together through play, song and music. Not only have children learnt many new things but relationships have developed with families and a unique diverse community has grown. One that is full of learning, respect, care, laughter and joy where differences are celebrated, and friendships are forged.
